Phone detection
Know when there’s an active phone where there shouldn’t be one. A software-defined radio receiver detects the LTE devices transmitting inside your perimeter.
How it works
An SDR (software-defined radio) receiver listens to LTE activity inside the monitored area and identifies the phones that are transmitting. Processing runs on equipment installed on your site, and alerts go to your operations team.
We develop and install it with a partner specializing in software-defined radio. Its use is regulated and depends on who operates it and where; we review that with you before any installation.
It works on its own. In a prison it complements counter-drone defense: it covers the phone that already got in, and the route it usually takes.
What it solves
Prisons
Detects phones smuggled inside.
Sensitive rooms
Meeting rooms, data centers and areas where devices aren’t allowed.
Isolated sites
Unauthorized presence at large or remote facilities.
The law comes first.
Rules on radio equipment vary by country and by who operates it. We review the framework that applies to your case before any installation, and we only work within it.
Does it make sense for your site?
In a 30-minute meeting we review the area you need to monitor, who operates in it and which regulatory framework applies. If there’s a fit, we propose a field measurement.
